  2. As a point of interest...the course was in such great shape this year (all year) kudos to you and the team. What would be the perfect weather conditions heading into winter that would be the best for the health of the course? Snow then cold?

    1. Thank you for your compliments on the course. To answer your question on weather conditions heading into winter: If the weather gets cold, snow cover can provide a blanket of insulation and protection for the turf. A few inches of continuous snow cover through the winter would be ideal, as long as we have sprayed a preventative snow mold product. You can learn about weather conditions and how they may affect the golf course in the blog post titled "Winter's Wrath" which I published last January, and "Ice Ice Maybe" which was in March.

Thanks again, and have a great winter!

      -Travis
